Well, the part that lets water into the toilet bowl. This is the Part I am talking about.  This is the part you replace.  You might also need to replace the 400 A Fluid Master. This is the part that regulates the water flow.  In order to replace this, you need to turn the water off. And take the water supply off and replace the 400 A Fluid Master or the Ballcock. First of all you have to make sure there is no water as this will not allow the pipe to get hot thus solder will not melt. 2. Now that the water has been turned of cut the pipe where the leak is and sand edges with sand cloth, and measure pipe length needed. 3. Now use a fitting brush to sand the inside of the couplings. 4. Now place flux paste on pipe with a brush and place flux inside of couplings. 5  When you join together the fittings. Make sure they are inside the joint when joining the fittings. 6. Now apply the Heat to the fitting moving the torch kind of in a circular motion. And apply the solder. (See a couple of videos to see How soldering is done.)
